IOKAI SHIATSU

Shiatsu is a form of manual therapy developed in Japan. It is a branch of the great rich Eastern Medical tradition. Literally translated, the word shiatsu means, "pressure with the fingers".
Its simple technique is highly effective: leaning on the body of the receiver using pressure from the thumbs, hand palms, elbows or knees brings the vital energy, known as Ki, to a free-er circulation. This influences both body and mind. The basic principles of shiatsu are natural touch, relaxation, using the principle of gravity. The heart of shiatsu is the open and honest contact between two people.
