This is the privacy statement of Iokai Shiatsu Professional Training. In this statement we explain how we handle the personal data we obtain in our contact with you. Iokai Shiatsu Professional Training complies with the provisions of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
- Collection of personal data
We do our utmost to protect your data. We need personal data to guarantee our service to you and to further improve the quality of our training. The Iokai Shiatsu Professional Training processes this personal data because you are attending our Professional Training and/or because you have provided it to us yourself, for example by subscribing to our newsletter or requesting a newsletter.
The Iokai Shiatsu Vocational Training Center processes data for the following purposes:
- Providing education
- Invoicing and financial administration.
- Sending the newsletter and/or study guide, digitally or in hard copy
- Granting access to and using our e-learning environment.
- Taking measures to improve education and providing information or offers.
The data we use may consist of personal data, such as your name, company name, address details, email address and telephone number that you provide through the website, telephone, or otherwise.
The information we collect can also be of a technical nature through the use of web logs or cookies. This information gives Iokai Shiatsu Professional Training insight into your use of our website. We use this information to optimize our website so that we can help you even better.
- The use of personal data
2.1 Contact with the Iokai Shiatsu Vocational Training Center
When you contact us via email, the contact form on our website, or by phone, we will store these messages and the information contained therein. This information is stored locally on our PCs with a backup in ‘Dropbox’. We use this information to answer your question and to be able to contact you.
2.2 E-learning environment
For the provision of information about the course content, materials, schedules, progress, etc., the Iokai Shiatsu Professional Training uses an online learning environment, the so-called ELO, within the Moodle interface.
The stored personal data is protected via a personal login with a password, and is therefore not accessible to third parties.
The data that is stored are: personal data as specified under 1. and numbers, assessments and submitted study assignments.
2.3 Billing
For billing our education, we use an application on a local PC. This system includes your name, address, phone number, email address, and the education you are taking.
2.4 Newsletters
To distribute news about our program, we use Mailchimp. On the password-protected platform, we store your name and email address.

On our websites, we use Google Analytics to track various things, such as the duration of a visit, a visitor’s physical location, and which pages are visited. It tells us what is happening on our website.

3.2 Google Adwords Conversion Tracking
On our websites, we use Google Adwords Conversion Tracking. This helps us measure the performance of our ads when someone enters a search query on Google and clicks on one of our ads. This allows us to determine the success of our advertising efforts.

3.3 Google Remarketing

You have the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restrict processing and the right to object to the processing of the data we hold about you. You can submit a request to this effect via info@iokai.nl with your name, first name, date of birth, email address and phone number. We may ask you to verify your identity to determine whether we will provide the requested data to the correct person. When it comes to accessing personal data linked to a cookie, you must provide a copy of the cookie in question. You can find this in the settings of your browser. The Iokai Shiatsu Professional Training will respond to your request as soon as possible, and no later than four weeks.
