The Iokai Shiatsu Professional Training Programme in the Netherlands is one of the Iokai Shiatsu training programmes in Europe. Belgium, France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Italy and Austria have similar training programmes. The European Iokai Shiatsu Association (EISA) monitors the quality and uniformity of the classes that are given.

EISA defines the quality standards and provides the teacher training and refresher courses. After successful completion of the four-year Iokai Shiatsu Professional Training Programme students are also entitled to the International Certificate of EISA.

Meetings and training sessions are organised for graduated Iokai Shiatsu students on a yearly basis, both in the Netherlands and in other countries. The characteristic Iokai Shiatsu atmosphere ensures that these meetings are instructive and inspiring as well as great fun!

There is a training week in France for Iokai Shiatsu students every year. Students from various countries are taught the basic techniques of Iokai Shiatsu in a beautiful and attractive setting.
